All cabinets are standard Sterling dimensions (73.5Ó H x 43Ó W x 31.5Ó D).
2x288 VDC links, maximum 100 Amp hour, 12 tray configuration.
360 - 480 VDC links, maximum 140 Amp hour, 10 tray configuration.
1/4 in ring tab terminals for battery monitoring are included on all terminals.
Breaker is ABB S-Series and includes auxiliary contact and shunt trip.
Cables are 1/0 Superflex with Anderson Power Pole tray connectors, 1 per tray.
Cabinets come in the following industry standard VDC Link configurations: 2x288, 480, 432, 384 and 360

Tank Formed Plate Construction

In the manufacturing process, tank formation allows each plate to be inspected for defects prior to battery assembly. Sterling uses fully formed plates, which guarantees reliable performance. Electrical and mechanical parameters of the plates are individually measured and matched to ensure uniform construction. The benefit is quite simply dependable predictable performance. (Beware most batteries are jar formed, a manufacturing process that does not allow for stringent checks and is often reflected in shortened warranties.)

Threaded Insert Post

Flag post style designs require regular retorquing. With Sterling’s threaded insert post design retorquing intervals are dramatically increased.

Handles and ABS Case & Cover

Sterling AGM and Gel Block batteries are equiped with sturdy lifting handles.

Underwriters Laboratories UL94 V rating, a prerequisite for UL 1778 UPS applications.

Epoxy Post Seal

Acid leakage from battery posts is a common cause of failure.

The double seal on Sterling batteries using o-ring and epoxy seal ensures a trouble free service life.

Tongue and Groove Lid

All Sterling batteries are built with a unique lid design that is epoxy sealed and provides a mechanical and chemical seal. The finished case is pressure tested at the factory.
